Here is a list of gift ideas that you can use for you holiday shopping!

$10 and less!

Trading Card Game Packs

If you know someone who plays Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh or any other Trading Card game, you know that those players can never get enough boosters packs. These make great stocking stuffers and usually run around $4 each. If you want to go big, you can get full boxes at a discount.

Cthulhu Dice

Serving Cthulhu is fun... except for all those other cultists out to get you. So get them first!
Cthulhu Dice lets you drive your rivals mad... very, very quickly. Players take turns rolling the big, beautiful, custom 12-sided die, embossed with tentacles, Elder Signs, and more. Destroy your opponents' sanity! Better yet, steal it. But watch out for Cthulhu -- when he comes up, he takes sanity from everyone! 18 glass Sanity marbles are included. Lose all your marbles and you're mad. The last sane cultist wins... unless everyone goes mad together. Then Cthulhu wins!

Cthulhu Dice is a "retribution" style game. You steal Sanity points from your rivals, and they do the same back to you. Of course, if someone is in the lead, he's the obvious target. Unless you're just carrying a grudge. Keep stealing Sanity (or losing it to Cthulhu) until someone -- hopefully you! -- is the last player with marbles. If everyone loses their marbles, Cthulhu wins! This one can play in five minutes. In fact, it can play twice in five minutes if Cthulhu gets lucky

Cthulhu Dice plays in 5 to 10 minutes, and is fun for 2 to 6 players.

Heroclix single figure packs

Take on your friends by battling with superpowered miniatures! Another great stocking stuffer for around $3 each. These packs have one figure each and are a quick and easy way to fill in collections for Heroclixs players you know. Regular packs of 5 are also available for around $12 each.

Munchkin Booster Packs

If you know someone into gaming, you probably know someone into Munchkin. These booster packs are another good way to get a gift for someone on the cheap! These packs can be added to all kinds of Munchkin games for around $5 a piece.

TCG Sleeves and Boxes

Card gamers need to take care of their stuff and you can help! You can outfit card gamers with packs of sleeves to protect their future top deck or boxes to carry around the next tourney winning deck. Best part is that these can be purchased for anywhere from $.50 to a few dollars.

PAINT!

Miniature gamers need to get their army painted and you can help! Pots of paint cost less than $4 each and can make good gifts for people who need to get motivated to get minis from primer to finish!

$10-$25

Fluxx

Fluxx is a card game in which the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game.

At the start of the game, each player holds three cards and on a turn a player draws one card, then plays one card. By playing cards, you can put new rules into play that change numerous aspects of the game: how many cards to draw or play, how many cards you can hold in hand or keep on the table in front of you, and (most importantly) how to win the game. There are many editions, themed siblings, and promo cards available.

This is a great game for families to play at a get-together during the Holidays!

Forbidden Island

Dare to discover Forbidden Island! Join a team of fearless adventurers on a do-or-die mission to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of this perilous paradise. Your team will have to work together and make some pulse-pounding maneuvers, as the island will sink beneath every step! Race to collect the treasures and make a triumphant escape before you are swallowed into the watery abyss!

Forbidden Island is a great cooperative game and one of the best deals around at $17.99

A Game of Thrones Chapter Packs

Across the Seven Kingdoms, the Great Houses of Westeros struggle to control the Iron Throne. As the influential House Baratheon, honorable House Stark, treacherous House Lannister and fierce House Targraryen all vie in a life-or-death struggle for the future of the realm, dark and supernatural forces amass outside the kingdom’s defensive wall. Winter is coming. Do you have what it takes to emerge victorious in the only game that matters, A Game of Thrones?

Game of Thrones players will love more cards for the collection. At $15 each they also make great, inexpensive gifts.

Magic the Gathering Deckbuilder Toolkit

Jump-start your collection with 285 battle-tested cards, perfect for building several different decks! This box also includes a guide containing dueling tips and expert advice on how to custom-build the deadliest and most effective decks possible! This is a great way to get into Magic. This kit has a ton of cards and a nifty box to keep them in. A steal for around $20.

Game Mastery Flip Mats

GameMastery Flip-Mat Basic is a great addition to any roleplayers' collection, or if you are using a standard map and want to try them out this one will last for years and is good for any adventure. GameMastery Flip-Mats are designed to make your game portable and affordable. They're made with durable, laminated card stock and can handle dry erase, wet erase, and even permanent marker! Flip-Mats are constructed of durable laminated card stock (~70 lb paper-comparable to that of a restaurant menu). They measure 24" by 30", and quickly and conveniently fold down to 8" by 10" (slightly smaller than a sheet of notebook paper). GameMastery Flip-Mats features a 1"-square grid on both sides. The 1" grid extends fully to the edge of the maps for a full 720 square inches of usable area. Usable by experienced GMs and novices alike, this product fits perfectly into any Game Master's arsenal!

Pathfinder Miniatures

The Pathfinder Beginner Box includes four highly detailed prepainted plastic miniatures for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The four heroes included in the set also appear as the four pre-generated characters in Paizo’s Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beginner Box (released in October 2011) making this an ideal supplement for new gamers. All figures are on 1-inch round bases and are fully compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and other major fantasy RPG game systems.

...Well that's part 1, a whole lot of cool inexpensive gifts. Be looking for Part 2 in the next couple of days where we start looking at bigger ticket items.
